Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh today virtually inaugurated 125 major infrastructure projects across the country.
Among these, seven key projects from Uttarakhand have also been launched, including the opening of five strategic bridges built in the border region of Niti Pass in Chamoli district:
Suraithota Bridge
Pangthi Bridge
Gurkutti Bridge
Gamsali Bridge
Niti Bridge
ЁЯПФ️ Located close to the India–China border, these high-altitude areas will now have safer and smoother access.
These bridges will:
Strengthen the movement of the Army and paramilitary forces
Provide major relief to residents of border villages
Boost connectivity and development in the region
A wave of happiness is visible among the local people—these bridges are not just physical structures, but pathways to progress, security, and new opportunities.
